Operations Oracle DBA - Team Lead - Nr ref. (70/09) Kraków Job description In this role you will be working closely with Managed Services and Operations Teams. The role is one to be part of a 24/7 shift environment. In this position you will be providing customers support. Your main responsibilities will also include working alongside the 1st line operations team. You may also perform a variety of other duties including but not limited to: team management, space management, upgrades, installation, new builds, application releasing, monitoring, managing alerts etc. An adaptable, 'can-do' and solution oriented attitude is essential to this role, so if you have an excellent communication skills demonstrating the ability to communicate clearly through both written and verbal mediums with a methodical eye for detail and strong troubleshooting skills, this is offer for you. For more information please contact Patrycja Pacocha: [email protected] Requirements Minimum 4 years experience of Oracle Database Administrator, Previous experience of working in a similar IT troubleshooting, client support role, In-depth experience with Oracle Dataguard, RAC, Exadata, Golden Gate and Streams, Knowledge of relational databases logics and good programing skills (preferably Oracle SQL and PL/SQL), Demonstrable advanced experience with 11g and knowledge of 12c, Experence in data EXP/IMP, RMAN, Datapump, ASM, Knowledge of Oracle Grid Control 12c, Unix/Windows systems administration experience preferred (including Unix/Windows scripting is a plus), Good communication skills in English to enable effective communication with customers, Experience in working as part of a team, Understanding of Change Management, Friendly and professional manner with an enthusiastic positive approach to tasks, Excellent listening and a strong verbal and written communication skills, Flexibility to work in shifts. Additional requirements It would be preferred but not essential to have experience or knowledge of MS SQL Server, ITIL processes, Oracle E-business Suite Applications and/or Weblogic, Oracle Certification (OCA/OCP/OCM) would be an advantage.
