Open Source projects that reject AI contributions will be replaced. This is fine: true Open Source (the stuff below the marketing layer) is good at this. But projects that pretend this isn't going to happen are deluding themselves.

I have been using curly quotes; em dashes; not X, but Y; and the rule of three for decades. Check my prior work. The rest of you are in trouble though.

First they came for the em dashes, and I did not speak out. Then they came for “not X, but Y,” and I did not speak out. Then they came for the rule of three, and still I did not speak out. Now they’re coming for curly quotation marks. This is actually where I draw the line.
