• After I enabled image optimization on my website via litespeed-cache, I noticed that the main photo (the main photo of the news item — I have a news website) is reduced in size to 800×445 px, while all other photos in the body of the news remained the same size as I had uploaded to the WordPress admin panel (1200×675+). Is the problem really with litespeed-cache? Is it reducing the size of the main photo? If so, how can I fix it?

    * The size is also specified at the end of the main photo’s name (010816_oldpeopleautonomous_hero-800×445).

When images are sent to optimization it sents the main image(the one you uploaded) + all the sizes that are set by theme/plugins.
When used in editors images might have different size added from block settings. If you want main image please select size set to full.
I cannot be more specific at the moment because I cannot see the site.
If you want further help, please send a report from LSC => Report => click on “Send to Litespeed” and share with me the ID generated(string).

no , our plugin does NOT modify the resolution , when you upload an image, the wordpress will create few resized images , depends on your theme or other plugins

you can simply verify with LSCWP disabled
