Do you mean the installation hangs on the last element or the CJT dashboard page hangs AFTER installation has been successful?

Also, we have just recently been alerted to a dashboard issue with CJT and the older Envato WordPress Toolkit that allows automatic updating of themes and plugins from the Envato network.
After checking the issue further seems that it is due to incompatibility with another plugin I use. After deactivating all plugins the CJT dashboard metabox works normally. As far as I can see the main issue is with the ‘Envato WordPress Toolkit’ plugin (https://github.com/envato/envato-wordpress-toolkit).
I just noticed that I used a deprecated version and the new plugin is named Envato Market (http://envato.github.io/wp-envato-market/). I installed the new plugin and the issue is gone now.
Not sure if this helps in your case, however I thought it would be good to put it out there for others that may search for CJT and Envato plugin related issues.

Thanks for your response. I replaced the envanto plugin and everything works fine now.
