The evening show strives to tell the story of the War of Resistance through art within the grand historical narrative, highlighting the characteristics of "drama" and striving to present an "epic" temperament. On the morning of September 3, 2025, a grand military parade will be held in Tiananmen Square in Beijing. Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of the People's Republic of China, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, will attend and deliver an important speech at the ceremony commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. This parade will no longer feature veterans of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression.
