Adobe Muse is a visual web design application developed by Adobe Systems Incorporated. Created for designers who prefer to build websites without hand-coding, it offered a familiar, layout-driven workflow similar to desktop publishing tools. Users could plan site structure, design pages with drag-and-drop precision, and preview and publish directly from the app.

Key capabilities included responsive design with breakpoints, master pages, built-in widgets (such as menus, slideshows, and galleries), scroll and parallax effects, and the ability to embed custom HTML. Muse integrated with other Creative Cloud tools, supported Adobe Fonts (formerly Typekit), and allowed placement of assets from Photoshop and Illustrator. Sites could be exported as standards-based HTML/CSS/JS or published via FTP; earlier versions also supported Adobe Business Catalyst hosting.

Adobe discontinued development of Muse in March 2018, with technical support ending in 2020. While existing installations may still run, Adobe recommends transitioning to modern alternatives—such as Adobe XD for prototyping or third-party website builders and content management systems—for current projects.

Adobe Muse is developed by Adobe Systems Incorporated and is used by 87 users of Software Informer. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 7.0, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3 and 7.4.
