Love this book. I was always a people pleaser until I was emotionally exhausted. I had the hardest time saying "No" and would always feel overwhelmed with the amount of things I took on. Specifically in my marriage, this gave me the courage to combat and eventually leave a narcissist husband. I took the power back. My favorite chapter is "Always say less than necessary". (Narcissists hate that!)

    I am only on the first few pages and I can’t seem to stop reading. The writer’s approach is very interesting. Might not be for the nice people but it’s good to know, defence wise. This book will not require you to be nice or optimistic in every situation. It’s more like teaching you to be on advantage in every situation. Very interesting read!
