I gave these bubble guns to my 2 and 4 yr old grandsons for Easter. I have to say they exceeded my expectations. Both boys absolutely loved them. They played with them for nearly 2 hours straight after receiving them. The gun is a manageable size even for the little one, and both boys were able to operate them with ease. The guns shoot out a large amount of colorful bubbles and the bubble soap bottle was still half full after 2 hours of continuous play. They take 2 AA batteries, which also lasted beyond their play time. Really good price point as well.

I ordered 2 boxes (4 blowers total), and two of them were defective right out of the box (pink/purple). The different packaging also just seemed odd to me along with slightly different designed products and instruction pages.
Orange/yellow: came in a white box, have a sticker that says "bubble storm," had the batteries installed with a plastic pull tab. These both worked, but the motors sound different from one another so that does worry me that one might die. Bubble output was a lot! I might even cover up some of the blowers with hot glue to try to make the bubble liquid last longer.
Pink/purple: box with pictures on it, batteries came in plastic wrap. Batteries felt poor quality, but even when installed with brand new batteries that I bought elsewhere, neither one worked. The purple one made a motor noise for a second and then stopped, and the pink one never turned on at all.
I'll probably still buy a replacement one and hope those work, simply because I'm having trouble finding a better option... Seems like Amazon is just turning into a place to buy cheap junk from China.
