    It’s easy to set up (even though our apartments windows only open a little bit), we only needed tape for it and a bit of cardboard to close the gap between the inside of the window panes, works really well and I really like the wheels on it too that make it as portable & adjustable as an AC can be. The price is decently affordable too, compared to other similar models. It does make a bit of noise but it’s not very loud and is really just white noise that fades into the background.

    Ça prit 4 jours de livraison, mais l'attente en valait la peine.

    Il est très pesant, j'ai du avoir de l'aide pour le monter au 2ieme.

    C'était relativement facile d'assembler le tuyau à l'appareil. Je mentionne que je devais glisser l'adaptateur du tuyau dans les traques de l'air climatiseur, et non essayer de les clipsser.

    Pour ce qui est de l'installation à la fenêtre, c'était un peu plus compliqué. Ça vient avec des plaques rétractables, sauf que pour faire dans ma fenêtre, j'ai du poser un carton plastifié de 7"x 4". Et sealer le tour avec du zip and seal.

    J'aime le fait qu'il ne passe pas l'été dehors, comme mon ancien climatiseur de fenêtre, donc que je n'ai pas à le nettoyer et rentrer des bactéries dans la maison l'hivers,

    Et que j'ai pu choisir de l'installer du côté gauche de mes fenêtres, et que ça me laisse le choix de pouvoir ouvrir mes fenêtres du côté droit, afin de pouvoir aérer mon appartement.

    Je n'ai pas encore expérimenté toutes les facettes de cet air climatisé. Mais le l'adore. Il n'est pas très bruyant. Et très efficace. Je le recommande. Très bon rapport qualité-prix prix.

    Moi et mon conjoint traversons présentement une énorme canicule avec facteur d'humidité en ressentie de non loin des 45° (ce qui est littéralement étouffant et insupportable en plus dette totalement au dessus de la moyenne normal) je redoutais les air climatiseur acheter en ligne autant pour la livraison que pour la qualité vue les prix. Mais j'ai vite changer d'avis, ma livraison était prévu entre le 28 juin et le 8 juillet. Je m'attendais à attendre 2 semaine puisque c'est quand même un gros colis. Quelle naïve j'ai été ! En littéralement 3 jours voire maximum 4 c'était déjà livrer! J'étais tellement contente de savoir que je ne subirait pas une autre nuit à devoir prendre 4 douche froide avec des linge humide collet au front dans le lit à tourner en rond voire ne pas dormir tout court tellement c'était infernal. Et ça ce n'est que le début! C'est livrer à la perfection en même pas quelque jours, en plus d'être une très bonne machine à refroidir très vite. Sans compter que l'installation, c'était du gâteau, ça vient avec tout le kit pas besoin de chercher des ptit morceau par ci par la, non! Tout est là et ultra facile à comprendre!

    I recently ordered this portable AC to use in a small 80sq foot room. After looking at several other options, I landed on this one based on all the positive reviews. However, since setting up this AC two days ago, I have not had a very positive experience. This AC unit does not cool my room at all. The temperature in the room is as warm as it always has been. The AC makes no difference to the temperature inside the room. For instance, today it was 25 degrees Celsius outside. The temperature in every room of my house was around 27 degrees. The temperature in my 80sq foot room with this AC unit running all day was also 27 degrees. There was no change at all, despite having the AC cooling mode on all day. The room didn’t cool down and stayed at 27 degrees. I am at a loss for what to do here. I am also having a hard time communicating with the company about this issue. The unit was set up following all the instructions. I made sure the AC was set to the cooling mode and I lowered it to the lowest possible temperature so it could cool down my room continuously. The unit was also kept upright for over 24 hours prior to use. I’m very frustrated that this product isn’t cooling my small room. I really was expecting better. Not sure if I got a defective unit or what, but this product sure does not cool my room effectively. Don’t know what I’m going to do especially now that the weather has gotten quite hot and clearly this unit isn’t helping alleviate that. For a $350 product I expected way better performance. I’m very stressed out and upset about this.

    I Live in AZ and we have a room in the house that just won’t cool, and is hot as hades! This room is my work from home space and is usually 5/6 degrees hotter than the rest of the house. I tried a portable evap cooler because I didn’t want to mess with running an exhaust hose but it didn’t work at all. I returned the evap cooler and got the 8000BTU and can say it worked like a charm. It cooled my office space down even colder that the rest of the house. The Window kit that comes with the unit didn’t work I needed something that expanded out to at least 70”. I ended up getting a kit on Amazon that was for windows/sliding doors and worked great. You will need 5.9 hose kit if you aren’t using the enclosed window kit.

    Cools for 5 minutes then warm air comes out. The thing from the window heats up and makes it even more hot!! What’s worse? It’s noisy. I thought my neighbor was mowing the lawn at nighttime the first time I heard it.

    Getting a traditional one asap!

    Oddly, it isn't hot yet where we live, so this unit hasn't received a full test yet, except for its humidity removal function.

    I think the 8000 btu unit is a bit undersized for our basement, where it's been deployed, but even a small improvement will prevent me from having to relocate to another part of the house when the heat arrives for good.

    For our installation, the air exchanger had to be directed out a window that is relatively high compared to the basement floor. The tube was a stretch; I think some similar installations may face this problem.

    You'll also need to improvise a cover for the air exchanger. We get mice and squirrels in the basement because our pantry is there; no need to add to the temptations. Also, for this reason, expect to use this as a temporary, not a permanent installation. (Animals are very motivated in cold weather.)

    Check out the dimensions; it's not a problem, but I was surprised at how tall this unit is. About upper thigh on me.

    The 650ml water reservoir is not large. It's about 0.17 gallon. On a humid day, it needs to be emptied at least once. For sleeping, you'll want to empty it before going to bed. I can work with this limitation, but we have a dehumidifier which integrates a water pump to remove water - this would be a better solution that frequent emptying (though it adds to the cost.) We have a drain in the floor of the basement, but it's nowhere near the location of this unit. A long drainage tube is tempting but would be inconveniently in the way.

    Nice remote.

    Overall, this is pretty good if you can cut down the space to be heated and minimize cooling loss through windows (or ceiling for attic installations).

    If you have nonstandard window sizes, it may be a challenge to install the air exchanger to your satisfaction. And there's the water disposal problem.

    1. Don't use the drain hose while the units running unless it's on the dry/dehumidifier setting. The condensation cools the coils which helps the unit produce the cold air more efficiently.
    2. Keep the filter clean. Just remove, rinse with water, dry and install.
    3. You may need to learn degrees in celcius. I've seen other with units in Fahrenheit but I don't see where the change can be made on my unit. I'm having the same issue with a radient heater I bought on Amazon. No option to change this. Maybe someone can leave a review to help me with that. Hopefully this helps someone out. Good luck and stay cool.
