In the early 2000s I maintained a site that aggregated local San Diego blogs. I got mentioned in the local paper and appeared on the radio. See the Writing page for more about those things. It was a fun time, people would self-submit themselves, link to the site. People made 88x31 images to link to the site. I had a lot of fun building it, making maps with it, and meeting fellow bloggers. Eventually I moved away from San Diego and sold the domain. An archival edition of the site is here.
