Quem pode participar?
Destina-se a estudantes de qualquer ciclo de estudos ou docentes ou investigadores/as ou funcionários/as ou alumni da Universidade do Porto que pretendam dar corpo à sua ideia de negócio e arrancar com um projeto empreendedor.

Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) is the deadliest form of breast cancer. Despite understanding TNBC heterogeneity, targeted therapies are lacking, making chemotherapy the primary treatment, which severely impacts patients’ quality of life.
CARCINUS-Therapeuticals aims to deliver a small-molecule targeted therapy to prevent metastasis and offer a non-toxic alternative to taxane-based chemotherapy, marking a shift towards precision oncology with fewer side effects.

AI4BirthCare is a data-driven decision support system that uses patientspecific data to predict and prevent childbirth-related injuries, thereby assisting medical decision-making. This tool combines AI and biomechanical simulations to assess pelvic injury risks before childbirth. By identifying risks and indicating the most probable lesion locations, it enables obstetricians to implement targeted interventions, ultimately improving maternal healthcare. This project can grow through several collaborations with healthcare institutions, universities, and medical technology companies.
