Cameron Wilson

Executive Advisor

Cameron is Code.org’s co-founder with Hadi and Ali Partovi and former CEO and President. Cameron created the computer science K-12 community policy agenda and then scaled Code.org’s outreach and advocacy efforts helping pass 350+ policies across every state. He then turned toward scaling Code.org’s district outreach along with local partner programs before shifting into the CEO and President role to focus on day-to-day operations. Before Code.org, Cameron served as Director of Public Policy for the Association for Computing Machinery and spent 10 years on Capitol Hill in various positions. Cameron continues to serve in an executive advisory role guiding the organization's mission.

Emily McLeod

Director of Teaching and Learning

Emily leads the Code.org team developing K-12 curriculum and professional learning. She is an education program and product designer specializing in equitable, high-quality CS and STEM learning, and is passionate about engaging female students and students from groups underrepresented in CS. Previously, Emily was Director of Innovation, Research, and Curriculum at Techbridge Girls, and was a curriculum designer at EDC.

Karim Meghji

Karim previously served as the CPO at Code.org, leading the global effort to bring CS and AI into K-12 classrooms. His path was shaped in high school, when a teacher inspired a lifelong passion for technical problem-solving—a "lightbulb moment" that now fuels his mission to empower students everywhere. A seasoned executive with experience in scaling high-growth companies, he has served in leadership roles at Remitly, Booking.com and RealNetworks. He is dedicated to the vision that teaching students how technology works gives them the agency to build the future.

Karina started her career as a high school teacher and transitioned to the non-profit sector to coordinate educational projects in Chile, Colombia, and most recently, the United States. She is passionate about promoting an education that prepares students to live fulfilling lives and positively impact the world.

Katie Hendrickson

Chief of Staff

Katie focuses on operations and strategy as Code.org's Chief of Staff. She works across the organization to inform leadership priorities and decision making. Her previous roles at Code.org include serving as the President of the Code.org Advocacy Coalition and Senior Director of Government Affairs. Katie holds a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from Ohio University and is a former secondary mathematics teacher.

Matt is a product leader who sold his music tech startup to Sony and now builds zero-to-one products in B2B SaaS, fintech, and consumer tech. He specializes in finding market gaps and designing standout solutions through research. He holds a BA in Economics from UPenn and lives in NYC with his wife. Matt plays jazz guitar, supports Cornell’s Product Studio, hosts a monthly science salon, and is always tinkering on side projects.

As Vice President of People and Culture at Code.org, Patty Izquierdo is committed to fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture where employees thrive. She is passionate about setting the conditions for the Code.org team to do their best work. Her 20 years of HR experience helps her build and scale effective organizations focused on results. When she is not scaling teams or coaching executives she is exploring nature or playing fetch with her cats.

As Chief Growth Officer at Code.org, Sarah Morrison is deeply committed to expanding the movement for K-12 computer science education. Her tenure with AT&T, Apple, Visa, Pepsico, and Neiman Marcus is marked by a track record of initiating and leading highly impactful global campaigns. Her focus at Code.org is expanding global awareness and ensuring equitable access to education, leveraging her expertise to grow the movement.

Sean leads Code.org's policy work in multiple states. A former classroom teacher, he has led state advocacy efforts in areas such as funding equity, teacher certification, and school accountability. Building strong partnerships is a hallmark of Sean’s work. Prior to joining code.org, Sean served as executive director of a school advocacy association and a district human capital consultant.
