Deerfield Discovery and Development (3DC) is our company-building R&D engine, where bench scientists and industry veterans work together to drive progress.

Our New York City headquarters, Cure (a Deerfield affiliate), houses numerous life science and healthcare companies, many of which work in labs throughout the building.

The installation of Deerfield's cryo-electron microscope required creative engineering - vibrations from the NYC subway had to be damped.

In-building lab space and state-of-the-art equipment enables Deerfield portfolio companies and 3DC scientists to test promising scientific ideas.

We partnered with Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina to build Alo, a healthcare services platform that enables independent physicians to manage the business of medicine.
