Inspiration
Agriculture has always been one of the most important foundations of human society. Yet many farmers still rely on limited access to timely advice when making crucial decisions about crops, pests, fertilizers, or changing weather conditions.
The inspiration for this project came from thinking about a simple question: what if farmers could have instant access to agricultural guidance anytime they needed it? Not everyone can easily consult an agricultural expert, especially in rural areas where resources may be limited.
With the rapid progress in artificial intelligence, particularly AI agents and large language models, it felt like the right time to explore how these technologies could assist farmers in practical ways. The idea was to build a system that could understand a farmer’s question, gather relevant information such as weather conditions or crop recommendations, and provide clear and helpful advice.
This project was created as a small step toward that vision — demonstrating how modern AI tools like Amazon Nova can be combined with simple agricultural knowledge to support better decision-making in farming.
The goal is not to replace farmers' experience, but to complement it with accessible digital assistance that can help them respond faster and make more informed choices.
