Inspiration
In agile development, effective project management is crucial for success. We noticed that many teams struggle with organizing daily stand-ups and managing tasks efficiently. This inspired us to create AI PM, an intelligent project manager that seamlessly integrates with Jira to enhance productivity and streamline the agile process.
What it does
AI PM automates the creation of Jira issues based on team conversations, ensuring that no task is overlooked. It also tracks the progress of sprints by managing daily sprint meetings, providing real-time updates and insights to keep the team on track and focused on their goals.
How we built it
We used langchain to implement the agent that exploits OpenAI's tool calling to decide what actions to commit to Jira dynamically.

Jira's API is hard to use.

We are proud of creating a reliable AI that can handle the complexities of project management and seamlessly integrate with Jira.
What we learned
Throughout this project, we learned the intricacies of natural language processing and its practical applications in project management. We also gained insights into integrating AI with existing tools like Jira and the importance of user feedback in refining AI models.
What's next for AI PM
Next, we plan to enhance AI PM's capabilities by incorporating predictive analytics to foresee potential project risks and delays. We aim to expand its integration with other project management tools and improve its conversational understanding to support more complex project management scenarios.
