Inspiration

We know a lot of keen gardeners, all of which would appreciate a self caring plant. Giving it more personality and resistance than the average plant.

What it does

A plant pot pet, that moves towards light and makes noise when unhappy.

How we built it

We attached motors and sensors to a 3d printed Bulbasaur planter. We then developed code to animate the bubby bot.

Challenges we ran into

Our 3d printer failed originally so we had to reprint it. The code encountered many errors during debugging.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Created a good friend to hang out with. Accomplished an automated self maintaining system with a lot of personality.

What we learned

Learned c++, how to use motor controllers and technical design of a motorised plant pot.

What's next for Bubby Bot

Bubby Bot shall become common place in all houses, allowing a foothold in society to begin world domination.
