Inspiration
We love listening to the thoughts of our canine companions. However, we have never known what they have meant, until now! In addition, we can hear the doggy thoughts remotely. Via tweeting!
What it does
A dog collar that tweets the dogs thoughts based on their barks.
How we built it
Consisting of a Raspberry Pi Zero, a camera, a volume monitor, and a battery pack on a collar. We are able to run code to tweet to a Twitter account.
Challenges we ran into
We found we had to request the usage of a bot from Twitter, which we did give us access to the Twitter API. In addition, we had to create some grammar-generating code. Allowing sentences to be produced.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are very proud of the grammar correcting code, In addition to creating a bot that is able to tweet.
What we learned
We learned how to use the Twitter API in order to create a functioning bot.
What's next for HackerDog8
We will further develop it to be more accurate to what the dog is thinking, allowing our canine companions to infiltrate jobs like diplomats and brain surgeons. Creating a more forward-thinking society.
