Inspiration
It's easy to forget small details that the doctor may want to know when you do in for any kind of medical appointment. Especially for older people who forget things and others who have a medical condition that makes them frequent the doctors office. MedHistory helps keep track of it with a personalized account made for the user and doctor to access.
What it does
It holds basic information about the user including blood type, previous doctor appointments, current medication taken, allergies, health issues, and much more.
How I built it
Using html and nextjs to create a website accessible for the user.
Challenges I ran into
As a team of relatively new members to computer science and hackathons we spent a lot of time on it learning new information. It was difficult to understand how to build a website from scratch.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Although not complete, we have a website link that works and leads to where the user would sign in and start their medical history portfolio.
What I learned
Building a website is not a simple task and can't be done in such a short amount of time with grand ideas of its potential. It was a lot of fun to play around with website ideas and how we would hold the users information using the google sign in.
What's next for Medical History
We want to continue to build a running website that'll be able to hold all the information detailed and will eventually help the user when looking for medical information they may not have off the top of their head.
