It helps you watch videos from the official NBA website, especially the game recaps.
How we built it
Using a selenium back end and a tkinter front end.
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge was getting the videos from the official NBA website, from the GET request/responses
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The way it gets videos is unique and was difficult to construct, needing to bypass a few issues when working with dynamic websites
What we learned
Dynamic websites are really hard to crawl (but rewarding)!
What's next for NBA Hacklights
Making the process more seamless by utilizing GCP for the backend. Maybe we can also do a similar process for other websites and content
