Inspiration
The inspiration for NoteCraft came from listening to the challenges my friends faced as students with disabilities. Their struggles with note-taking in class and the limited accessibility of resources prompted me to create a solution that could make a difference in their educational journey.
What it does
NoteCraft is a tool that can summarize different notes that can be accessed by students with disabilities.
How we built it
I built it using the MERN stack.
Challenges we ran into
Since I am not very seasoned with the MERN stack, connecting the backend, frontend and DB was a challenge. I also had some technical limitations with my initial idea so I had to transform it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am proud that I was able to quickly change plans and didn't give up.
What we learned
I learned about a new API meaningcloud and since this is my first offline hackathon, there is a lot I learned.
What's next for NoteCart
I am planning to add more functionalities like Speech to Text, Text to Speech and tags for notes so that it is easier for users to access notes.
