Inspiration
There is an increase in telehealth after Covid
What it does
Creates a platform for patients to upload medical data and doctors to update records. Removes the costs and hassle for recapping medical history during appointments and filling out paperwork which can be a barrier to people with disabilities.
How we built it
We used html/css for the frontend and flask and python scripts for the backend. Set up firebase project for future implementation.
Challenges we ran into
One challenge we ran into was implementing firebase.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Wave detected zero errors in our website homepage which shows how it is accessible.
What we learned
We learned that during the design process, developers should plan for all people meaning people with disabilities too.
What's next for Secured Health
Implementing firebase to deploy the website in a secure fashion and using their database.
