Making music production easy, cost free, and beginner friendly, in only two tabs.

Inspiration

One of our teammates loves playing music, but has always had a hard time getting into production and mixing. Buying pedals and equipment to mix music is not only expensive, but also has a huge learning curve.

That's why we made Twotabs.

Twotabs is build with ease in mind, so beginners can jump into music production and mixing with the assistance of AI. And for the experts, we tied in a computer vision system onto a DAW, so they can be the first ever musicians to mix live, with just their hands.

What it does

Twotabs ❤️ Elevenlabs and Gemini.

We start off by offering our users the ability to speak with a voice agent. Whether they have a specific genre or song idea in mind, or just something they want to talk about, they can hold up 5 fingers to talk and 4 fingers to stop, and our Gemini chatbot using Elevenlabs will listen and speak directly to our users.

When users say "I'm ready", Gemini will prompt Elevenlabs with a summary of the conversation to create music tailored to what the user was chatting about. The generated audio is then uploaded to a track on our custom DAW, which first runs imported tracks through a Librosa powered BPM tracker, adding visual BPM markers on uploaded tracks to assist users when mixing the song.

Then, using a legend of hand commands, users can play, pause, record new tracks, add effects to their recordings, and even layer looped tracks, all without ever touching the keyboard.
