Inspiration
I'm always looking for food I can afford nearby me, which isn't always easy in the city where there may be dozens of restaurants I have no clue if my shoestring budget can afford.
What it does
It takes in the current location from your cars GPS, and references it against the Google Maps API to find restaurants nearby you, and check to see if their prices match your budget.
How I built it
It was a simple front end via the GM infotainment app SDK, referencing Google's API to poll extra info
Challenges I ran into
Getting the Google Map widgets to play well with the car's callbacks.
