Inspiration
The limitations of the current polling mechanisms inspired us to create something new.
What it does
It polls the YouTube audience by analyzing comments for related videos.
How I built it
We built it with Youtube API to provide the data, Node JS to provide the server backbone, and web sockets to convey information back to the client.
Challenges I ran into
Making the youtube api respond and setting up the web sockets on heroku proved really tough and time-consuming.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I'm proud of now being able to use the youtube api and use web sockets on heroku.
What I learned
I learned teamwork and time management.

Better analysis techniques as well as more and better data.
