  STACKIT Logs was updated to Loki version 3.6

  We are happy to announce that STACKIT Logs has been updated to Loki version 3.6, effective immediately.

  This release delivers performance and stability enhancements alongside various bug fixes, ensuring a more responsive and reliable experience. This update is fully backward compatible, introducing no breaking changes. Your existing configurations and data will continue to work without any modifications.

  Release of the Telemetry Router Public Preview

  We are happy to announce the release of our brand-new service STACKIT Telemetry Router.

  The Telemetry Router is a fully managed service designed to give you complete control over your cloud telemetry. It acts as a central ingestion point, automatically collecting and standardizing data into the OpenTelemetry (OTLP) format. This eliminates the need for custom parsers and allows you to route your unified log stream to any destination, whether for compliance, security analysis, or long-term storage.

  Key Features:

  • Centralized Aggregation: Collect and manage all Audit Logs from every STACKIT service in one single location.

  • Native OTLP Support: Data is routed using the industry-standard OpenTelemetry protocol, ensuring seamless integration with modern observability stacks.

  • Flexible Routing: Send your data to STACKIT services (e.g., STACKIT Logs, Object Storage) or external destinations supporting OTLP or S3.

  • Compliance & Security: Meet regulatory requirements with a verifiable, at-least-once delivery.

  • Managed & Scalable: We handle the infrastructure, updates, and scaling, providing a reliable and maintenance-free experience.

  Important Migration Note: The Public Preview marks the beginning of the migration period. The legacy Audit Log API will remain active until 02 June 2026, after which it will be decommissioned. We recommend migrating your integrations to the Telemetry Router during this timeframe.

  STACKIT KMS is now available in Region EU02

  We are excited to announce that the STACKIT Key Management Service (KMS) is now officially available in our EU02 region. This expansion provides you with greater flexibility to manage your cryptographic keys and protect sensitive data within our second geographic location. By making KMS available in EU02, you can now ensure your encryption keys remain close to your regional workloads for optimal performance and local data residency. Key highlights of this release:

  • Geographic Flexibility: Deploy and manage your KMS instances directly in EU02 to support your regional infrastructure.
  • Low Latency: Minimize response times for cryptographic operations by hosting keys in the same region as your integrated STACKIT services.
  • Full Feature Parity: Access the same robust security features, key lifecycle management, and portal integration you currently utilize in our primary region.
