1. You need Server Listing Plugin installed to make it work. Here you can learn how to install plugin.

How to add a server?

1. Go to "Server Listing" options panel and click "Add new server"‌

3. If you set every setting correctly click "Save".

4. Your server should be visible in your list now.

How to remove server?

1. Go to "Server Listing" options panel and click "Check server list"

2. On far right from server you see two options. Click on bin.‌

3.  To make sure you want to remove this server there is additional confirmation needed.‌

5. Click "Delete" if you want to remove server.‌

How to turn off server from the list?

1. Go to "Server Listing" options panel and click "Check server list"

2. On far right from server you see two options. Click on toggle button.‌

After clicking that button wait few seconds and your server will be not displayed on widget/subpage anymore.‌

5. I will explain each option that is listed. Let's start with Avatar border color tab. You can set color for your border around avatar.

By default it's set to #FFC837. Avatar border color gradient is set to #FFA500 by default.

Avatar shape is custom setting where you can set other shape around your avatar.

How to change logo?

1. Login to your "Admin Contol Panel"
2. Go to Appearance tab and click Styles. You will see list of your themes. Pick Rain or Snow.
3. Click Styles properties on far right in same row as theme name.
4. Click Settings.
5. Find Logo URL and change it for your link. By default it's styles/rain/rain-logo.png. You can also use uploader icon.

Theme was designed to make logo fit inside navigation bar. Default size of Rain/Snow logo is 100px x 36px.

How to change underline color?

1. Login to your "Admin Contol Panel"
2. Go to Appearance tab and click Styles. You will see list of your themes. Pick Rain or Snow.
3. Click Styles properties on far right in same row as theme name.
4. Click Color palette.
5. Find Primary tab and Color 1 setting. It's set to orange by default.

2. After installation you need to set permissions for each groups.
3. Go to "Groups & permissions" tab and click "User groups" from dropdown menu.
4. First start with permissions for "Registered" group.
5. Scroll down to "StylesFactory Whitelist Request Plugin" headline.

Permissions explanation:

Can add request: Yes.
This is permission for adding requests by users.

Can view whitelist: Yes.
This is permission to see whitelist page.

Can edit self whitelist request: Yes.
This is permission for editing self requests in whitelist.

Can delete self whitelist request: Yes.
This is permission for removing request.

6. Permissions from "Registered" group will be inherited by groups with higher priority. Next step is to edit "Moderator" setting.

7. Scroll down to "StylesFactory Whitelist Request Plugin (Moderator)" headline.

Can view all whitelist requests: Yes.
Shows all requests that were send by users.

Can delete whitelist request: Yes.
Can remove every whitelist request.

Can edit whitelist request: Yes.
Can edit every whitelist request.

Can onhold whitelist request: Yes.
Can set whitelist request to on-hold status.

Can accept: Yes.
Can accept user to whitelist.

Can reject: Yes.
Can reject user request for whitelist.

Can add server: Yes.
Can add category to whitelist applications.

Moderator tools explanation:

Accepting/Rejecting or setting status for On-hold is very easy. After user applies for whitelist you will see it (if you have moderator permissions) in domainname.com/whitelist. You just need to click on button for example "Accept" if you want to accept users request.

After clicking button you will see popup with information about changing status. User will see alert with description about update.

It works the same for reject and on-hold status.

How to send whitelist request?

If you have permissions to send request then on domain.com/whitelist you will see button:

After clicking it you will see popup with form:

Title: set your request title.

Description: it's the best place to copy paste whitelist request provided by adminstrator. Each community use different questions so big text area is most universal solution.

Category: here you can choose which server you want to apply for whitelist.

How to add server as category?

If you have moderator permissions set properly you should see "Add server" button.

After that you will see small popup with Title form. Set your server name there.

After confirming you should be redirected to servers/categories list.

By default it's turned on. This option allows you to set nice animations after page loads.

Show on portal page: no
By default it's turned off. You can display your content box on portal if set yes.

Show on forum page: yes
By default it's turned on. You can display your content box on forum page.

Show more content (2 additional content space): no
By default it's turned off. If you choose that option there will be additional place under existing boxes.

Height: 350
By default it's set to 350. This is height for main content box area.

Slides for responsive design: 7
By default it's set to 7. You can limit how many content boxes you want to show for mobile devices (in slider mode).

Height for responsive design: 150
By default it's set to 150. Similar as in normal height settings but this one is for mobile devices. You can change height of content boxes in slider while on mobile. I recommend default settings.

Color link: #fefefe
By default it's #fefefe. You can change it to any RGB color. Remember that link color needs to be visible on gradient effect and image background.

Description color: #ddd
By default it's #ddd. You can set color for description.

Gradient one: transparent
By default it's set to transparent. This is setting for top gradient effect.

Gradient two: #0e0e0e
By default it's set to #0e0e0e. This is setting for bottom gradient effect.

Skew: 4
By default it's set to 4. This is setting for skew effect while hovering content box.
Normal:

Hover effect:

Scale: 1.3
By default it's set to 1.3. This setting is setting for scale effect while hovering content box. Check image samples above on skew effect (there is also scale effect).

Random content: no
By default it's set to no. This setting is to show your content boxes in random order. IMPORTANT: it will work only when using more than 11 content elements (for extended content areas) or over 9 (for smaller content areas).

Categories on: yes
By default it's set to yes. This setting allows you to show small category box info on your content box.

Categories background: #0d83ab
By default it's set to #0d83ab.

How to add content box?

1. Go to "UCD" tab and click "Content list" from dropdown menu.
2. You will see list of your content.

Example from our demo board. Your list will be empty if you are configurin it first time.

3. You will see "Add content" in right corner. Click it.

4. In "Title" form put title of your content.

5. In "Description" text area put all your info you want to show in content box. Remember to add short text because longer one can take too much place in your box and look bad.

6. In "Category" form put your category name you want to show.

7. In "Link" form put full url to your content.

8. In "Background" form you can upload image you want to cover background of your content box. You can also put URL to image hosted on other server. Remember it needs to be valid URL!

9. In "Display order" set position where you want to see your content displayed on your content list. If you turned on Random content option then Display order will only apply on plugin content list.

How to add content box?

1. Go to "UCD" tab and click "Content list" from dropdown menu.
2. You will see list of your content.

3. Click on your content title you want to edit.

4. Now you can change all forms. After changes click "Save".

How to remove content from list?

1. Go to "UCD" tab and click "Content list" from dropdown menu.
2. You will see list of your content.
3. Click on your content title you want to remove.
4. Click "Delete" button in right corner and "Confirm".

5. I will explain each option that is listed. Let's start with Settings tab.

Settings

Smoke effect: adds smoke effect on your header. By default it's turned on. You can change that image using your FTP and uploading new file. Basic directory for this image is: ./styles/vertiforo/img/smoke.png

Smoke placing: Front/Middle/Back. Choose layer placement. By default it's Front. In this option you decide where the smoke effect should be placed. If you pick Front it will cover all elements of your header. Middle option will hide behind logo and two renders (left and right one). Back will be moved behind background image (that option will work best with backgrounds in png with lots of transparent areas).

Header height: By default it's 300px. You can change max height of your header.

Vertiforo bars: By default it's turned on. This is option for cool 3 colored bars placed behind your logo.

Background header animation: pick animation style for your background. It will animate when page loads.

Left render animation: pick animation style for your left render. It will animate when page loads.

Right render animation: pick animation style for your right render. It will animate when page loads.

Left & Right render image

Background: pick image you want to show in left or right render area. You can also set color for this area but it's recommended to only use images. To upload image use upload icon.

This is example after uploading test image:

Left and right image settings works same. Remember to use png images and optimize them before uploading.

Logo image

Background: pick image you want to show as your logo. To upload image use upload icon in Image form.

Background image layer

Background: pick image you want to show as your header background. To upload image use upload icon in Image form.

5. Sticky sidebar: by default it's turned on. It will stick to the top of your browser while scrolling down your page (if forum list is longer than sidebar).

8. After setting right ID's you should see light bulb in your header navigation on right.

11. "Your text here" you can set description for your third panel here. By default here are set HTML codes for links.

12. "Title of fourth panel" you can set title for your fourth panel in custom footer.

13. "Your text here" you can set description for your fourth panel here. By default here are set HTML codes for links.

2. Login to your Admin Control Panel
3. Go to "SFCore" tab and click "Control Panel" from dropdown menu.
4. From SFCore - Dashboard panel find Slider settings.
5. "Turn on slider" option is for turning on/off your slider.
6. "Slides to show" by default there will be 3 slides visible in one row. You can change this option for example to show only 1 slide.
7. "Slides to scroll" by default this settings allow you to change only one slide per swipe/move. You can change this option to higher value if you use much more slides. For example you can set it to 3 to show next 3 slides per swipe.
8. From SFCore - Dashboard panel find Slider.
9. If you want to add new slide click button on far right "Add slide".
10. "Title" set your slide title here.
11. "Description" set your slider description here.
12. "Link" set link for your slider. Remember to use whole URL like example: https://stylesfactory.pl
13. "Background image" you can set link (full URL) or use uploader by clicking upload icon far right in your "Background image" form.
14. Click "Active" checkbox to make slider visible on your website. This little switch below is same function but visible in slider list so you can easly manage slides from there.

11. "Display order" is setting to set order in your slides. By default it's 0.

2. Login to your Admin Control Panel
3. Go to "SFCore" tab and click "Control Panel" from dropdown menu.
4. From SFCore - Dashboard panel find Node Icons & Animations Options.
5. Click on checkbox "Animation effect" to turn on animations. By default it's turned on.
6. "Animations for category block for nodes" is option which brings you animations for categories while scrolling. By default it's turned on.
7. "Custom node icons" will turn on/off options to support custom icons. For example:

By default it's turned on.

8. "Animations for nodes" is option which brings you animations for nodes. By default it's turned on. On demo board it's turned off.

9. "Widget animations" is option that turns on animations for your widgets placed in sidebar and other places in your forum.

10. "Snow effect" is option great while it's winter (or you just like snow :P). It's turned off by default.

11. "CSS": here you can change settings for node background gradient effect.

On this image you can see gradients on each forum node. By default it's set to: linear-gradient(to bottom,rgba(14,14,14,0.6) 51%, rgba(14,14,14,.95) 100%)

You can change it but remember to use RGBA color scheme.

12. "Icon width" is setting for custom image icons. If you set custom node icon as image you will be able to change it's size by changing this setting. By default it's 50px.

13. "Subforum icon size (img)" works similar to "Icon width". You can change subforum image size if set. By default it's set to 30px.

14. "Subforum icon size (font awesome) changes size of font awesome icon. By default it's 18px. Don't set too big icons because it have impact on responsivness of your theme.

15. "Unread icons colors" is setting when you want to mark unread messages by colored icon. By default it's turned on.

3. Go to "SFCore" tab and click "Control Panel" from dropdown menu.
4. From SFCore - Dashboard panel find Welcome Panel
5. Click on checkbox "Enable/Disable plugin" to make plugin work or turn it off. If it's checked then feature is turned on.
6. "Set your title message": here you set your welcome title (check preview image to see where text is placed. By default it's: "Set welcome title".
7. "Set your content message": you can set longer text here which is smaller but can contain some more info about your board and why it's worthy to register. By default it's: "Set welcome message".
8. "Set your button text": here you can change name of your button which by deafult is called "Register now!". Login button is set by default so you don't have option to change it's name in plugin settings. You can always try to change it in Xenforo language phrases if needed.

3. Go to "SFCore" tab and click "Control Panel" from dropdown menu.
4. From SFCore - Dashboard panel find Announcement

5. Click on checkbox "Announcement" to make plugin work.

6. From "Groups" select menu choose groups you want to view you announcement. By default it's (None) is selected.

7. Choose if you want to show announcements for guests by clicking/unclicking "Guest view" checkbox. By default it's turned on.

8. "Title of announcement" area is setting where you place title for your announcement. By default it's "Announcement Title".

9. "Your text here" is text area where you set all your informations for announcement. You can use HTML there.

1. You need Ultimate Partner Logo plugin to make it work. Here you can learn how to install plugin.
2. Login to your Admin Control Panel
3. Go to "Ultimate Partner Logo" tab and click "Options" from dropdown menu.
4. Here are default settings explained:

Turn on plugin: yes
By default plugin will install and set as turned on.

Height of partner logo: 150px

Width of partner logo: 150px
Default setting is 150x150px. You can change it to your needs but remember it can sometimes scale to fit your widget area. I recommend to use square graphics to avoid problems with bad scaled or pixelated images.

Slides: 3
Here you decide how many slides you want to show. By default it's 3. Sometimes it looks better with 4 if your graphics sizes are not so big.

Listing dot color: #000
Color for small dots under your partner logos.

Listing active dot color: orange
Color for active slide page dot. It hovers with every swipe.

Slides move: 1
By default it's set for 1. You can set it same amount as in "Slides" option. Here you decide how many logotypes you want to show per swipe.

Autoplay: true
By default it's set true. This functions gives your partner logos slider some automatics! Slider will change logos automaticly.

Speed: 3000
By default it's set for 3000. Slides movement speed is important, it can't be too slow.

How to add partner logo?

1. Go to "Ultimate Partner Logo" tab and click "Partners list" from dropdown menu.
2. You will see "Add partner" in right corner. Click it.

3. In "Title" form put name/title/name of your partner.

4. In "Link" form put full url to your partners website. Example: https://stylesfactory.pl

5. In "Logo image" upload logo of your partner. You can use built-in xenforo function to upload image or put your own link. Example link to external website: https://demos.stylesfactory.pl/data/assets/partnerlogo/front_staff-300x300.png

IMPORTANT! While using upload function remember to use unique image title.

6. In "Display order" set position where you want to see your logo displayed on your website.

How to edit existing partner logo?

Sometimes you will need to change your partner name or logo. It's very easy.

1. Go to "Ultimate Partner Logo" tab and click "Partners list" from dropdown menu.
2. You will see list of your partners.

3. Click on your partner name you want to edit.

4. Now you can change all forms. After changes click "Save".

How to remove partner from list?

1. Go to "Ultimate Partner Logo" tab and click "Partners list" from dropdown menu.
2. You will see list of your partners.
3. Click on your partner name you want to remove.
4. Click "Delete" button in right corner and "Confirm".

How to make my partner logos visible on forum?

1. Go to "Appearance" tab and click "Widgets" from dropdown menu.
2. You will see "Add widget" in right corner. Click it.

3. From select menu "Widget definition" choose "Ultimate Partner Logo"

4. Choose your display place in "Display in positions". You can choose multiple display placements. I recommend to use "Forum list: Above nodes" and "Forum list: Below nodes".

4. Click "Twitch plugin" checkbox to turn on plugin.

6. If you don't want to list Offline streamers click on "Show offline" checkbox.

7. "Scroll speed" option is for marquee effect for sidebar widget. By default we recommend to set it for 4.

8. "Keyword" option is for communities which want to show only these streamers with special tags in their stream title.

How to add streamer?

1. Go to "Twitch Plugin" options panel and click "Add new streamer"

2. Example:

3. If you set streamer username correctly click "Save".

4. On your streamer list you should see new nickname.

IMPORTANT: after adding streamer please wait 60 seconds to make it load all data.

How to remove streamer?

1. Go to "Twitch Plugin" options panel and click "Check streamers list"
2. On far right from streamers usernames you see two options. Click on bin.

4. To make sure you want to remove that user there is additional confirmation needed.

5. Click "Delete" if you want to remove streamer.

How to turn off streamer from listing?

1. Go to "Twitch Plugin" options panel and click "Check streamers list"
2. On far right from streamers usernames you see two options. Click on toggle button.

After clicking that button wait few seconds and your streamer will be not displayed on widget/subpage anymore.

Now you see all options that can be edited for your Portal. In this tutorial I will explain all sections of options page and give you examples of how it works and what it changes.

This instructions will be divided so you can easly can navigate.

Main Portal options

News threads per page: 5
This setting is to limit your news per page. By default it was set to display only 5 news blocks. You can change that value but remember it will make your portal page much longer ;)

Short news text length: 220
That setting is limiting your news excerpt. Default value is 220 letters. I found it optimal to not break news block.

Show avatar
Enabled by default. It will show news author avatar in lower bar under news text.

Show number of replies
Enabled by default. It will show replies for news topic on your forum.

Show forum title
Enabled by default. It will show your news forum from which all news are picked.

Show news image
Enabled by default. It will show your first attachments of topic in news forum. This options uses default xenforo attachments for posts system to pick image and show it as featured image of article/news.

Default sort order:
News check date is set by default.

Slider Settings

Slider on your portal is turned on by default.

Slides to show: 3
By default there will be 3 slides visible in one row. You can change this option for example to show only 1 slide.

Slides to scroll: 1
By default this settings allow you to change only one slide per swipe/move. You can change this option to higher value if you use much more slides. For example you can set it to 3 to show next 3 slides per swipe.

Game Server Status

This setting can be important for some gaming communities which were inspiration for creating this addon. Thanks to this setting you can check status of some game servers (Minecraft, FiveM and RedM).

By default feature is turned off.

Game: Minecraft (default)

Server info: put ip and host for your server

This feature works only with themes: FiveStyle, CraftStyle

Discord Status

This setting will allow you to show your Discord users online stats.

Widget ID: put here your Discord widget ID

Go to your Discord Server Settings

Find Widget settings

Go to Server ID and click Copy

Invitation link: your invitation link
Put your invitation link. Remember it need to be whole link, example: https://discord.gg/rJznYjs

Portal page as index / home page

1. Go to "Admin Control Panel"
2. Click "Setup" and choose "Options" in dropdown menu.
3. Find and click "Basic Options"
4. Find "Index page route"
   If you can't find it scrolldown and find "This list contains advanced options which may be hidden. Enable advanced mode." Click "Enable advanced mode."
5. By default you should see "forums/". You need to change that to "portal/". If not using friendly URL's (which I recommend) put "index.php?portal/".
6. Save & close. Your main page is your portal!

Set which forum is your news forum

1. Go to "Admin Control Panel"
2. Click "Forums" and choose "Nodes" in dropdown menu.
3. Now you see list of all forums you have. Find the one you want to make a "News forum" then click on it. If you don't have any forums created, you can do it clicking "Add node".
4. In choosen forum setting find "Advanced options" tab. It should be on bottom of your forum edit settings.

5. Click on it and find checkbox "Make topics visible as news on portal".

From now every new post in your "News forum" will be visible on your portal.

1. Login to your FTP server.
2. Go to your Xenforo root directory (where your forum is installed)
3. Find folder src
4. Find and open file config.php
5. Under all settings put this line:
   $config['enableAddOnArchiveInstaller'] = true;
6. Save & close config.php
   (These few steps enabled installation of plugins from inside your Admin Control Panel.)
7. Login to your Admin Control Panel
8. Click on "Add-ons" tab.
9. Click on "Add-ons" link from dropdown menu.
10. You will now see extended button in right top conrner of Add-ons list area:
11. Click "Install/upgrade from archive"

12. Pick your plugin and click "Upgrade"

Remember that this way you can only install plugins for Xenforo. Always check source of your plugins!
