Although overall registrations decreased, the number of one-character and two-character domains remained unchanged, indicating steady demand in the short-domain category. Further, the majority of short .ME domains are already active, either as dedicated services or products or as referral domains. This corresponds with some broader industry findings such as the Q4, 2025 Liquid Market Report. Another consistent trend is the performance of the top registrars and key markets, suggesting that the premium .ME domain segment is relatively stable and less prone to significant fluctuations.
