I was responsible for developing the product reviews platform, which includes reviews, questions and answers, photo and video content, a manual and automated moderation system, as well as product ratings. I participated in designing business domains and scaled the system to handle loads using database and cache partitioning and sharding. The most heavily loaded service handled 20k RPS with a P99 latency of less than 5ms.
