About Kingscrowd

Prior to founding Kingscrowd, Chris served as an Consultant at L.E.K. Consulting, where he focused on private equity due diligence. Before his time at L.E.K., he ran finance ops at Freebird, a travel tech startup. He also founded Simple.Innovative.Change, a Fintech publication focused on alternative investments and lending and was a finalist for the 2018 LendIt Fintech Journalist of the Year. Chris graduated from Boston College with a Business degree in Operations, Info Systems, and Marketing.

Brian is the Founder of Crowdwise.org and VentureWallet.co and an angel investor in 220+ startups through equity crowdfunding. An Aerospace/Mechanical engineer by training, a seasoned engineering leader, and a self-taught software developer, Brian also serves on the Crowdfunding Professional Association’s (CfPA) Board of Directors and is an advisor to numerous startups.

Scott Kitun is a media entrepreneur and investor with two exits, including Technori to Kingscrowd in 2022, and previously Co-founder and COO of Songfinch — the leading custom song platform — which Scott helped grow into a 9-figure business backed by some of the biggest names in tech and music. As an investor, Scott’s made over 20 seed investments with 4 exits, 3 unicorns and an MOIC above 5. He's also currently an investor/advisor at Republic.

Léa is passionate about impact investing and sustainability. Prior to Kingscrowd, she worked for Stanford’s accelerator, StartX, helping to select the most promising entrepreneurs. She also led the first award-winning study on the Malawian startup ecosystem. In her free-time, she volunteers to help entrepreneurs in Cameroon, Brazil and Colombia. Léa holds a degree in Anthropology from France and a MBA from UC Davis. She enjoys travelling, learning new languages, and being a handball goalkeeper.

Teddy comes to Kingscrowd with a background in venture capital and investment banking. He worked at Deutsche Bank as an investment banking analyst in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications group. Prior to that, he served as an associate at Alchemi Capital, a venture capital firm in Boston that invests in early-stage technology companies. Teddy holds a degree in Economics and Psychology from Wesleyan University, where he was captain of the varsity soccer team. He also holds a M.S. in Finance from Boston College.

Chris Martin oversees the systems, data, and workflows that connect Kingscrowd, raisepapers, and CrowdCheck. He is responsible for the integrity and movement of all data across the Kingscrowd platform, with a particular focus on regulatory filings, investment activity, and operational transparency. Before joining Kingscrowd, Chris managed multi-office quality assurance teams for agencies including Hill Holliday and Erwin Penland, leading large-scale initiatives in accessibility, DevOps workflows, and remote team operations. With a background spanning QA, automation, UX, and web development, he brings a practical, systems-oriented perspective to equity crowdfunding, informed by hands-on experience with the SEC’s EDGAR system and ongoing regulatory analysis.

Sam Fiske is a lifelong student of media with a keen interest in strategy, operations, and original content. He’s spent the last six years transforming Technori from a community pitch event to a thriving digital media brand geared towards founders and investors. Sam is a believer in the online markets and finding novel ways to increase financial literacy through tools like Kingscrowd. His work as a multimedia journalist has appeared in AP, Vice, WSJ, Military Times, U.S. News World & Report, WGN Radio, and Cannabis Business Times. Sam has also led projects for brands such as Salesforce, Capital One, and Home Chef.

Conner Loveless joins Kingscrowd after getting his start in the startup space with StartEngine. Previous to that Conner worked for BHG Financial in the traditional debt financing space. Working across multiple Kingscrowd business lines he helps provide resources to founders to reach their capital raising goals.

Jason Rychter is a growth marketer who has spent the majority of his career in fintech, including 8 years at Morningstar. He is extremely passionate about lifelong learning and growing consumer subscription businesses. Jason lives in Wisconsin with his wife and young sons. He is a big Wisconsin sports fan, and is lucky to have season tickets to the Green Bay Packers. Jason loves to travel, with his favorite place being Hawaii.
