At Paris Blockchain Week, Anne Le Hénanff, France's Minister Delegate for AI and Digital, pointed to Morpho as one of the country's leading projects, and a sign that Europe can lead the transformation of global finance, not just follow it.
Founded in France in 2021, Morpho has now surpassed $1.5 billion in valuation, making it part of the French unicorn cohort. Since launch, it has grown into one of the world's largest blockchain-based financial infrastructure platforms, with total deposits reaching $13 billion and active loan volume reaching $4.5 billion.
Leading companies, including Coinbase, Bitwise Asset Management, Ledger, Societe Generale - FORGE, Anchorage Digital, Bitpanda, Kraken, and Circle are already building on top of Morpho.
Morpho's mission is to power human ambition with open access to capital. Today, access to capital still depends on where you live, who you know, and which institutions are willing to trust you. Morpho is changing that by building an open network connecting lenders and borrowers to the best terms globally.
Human ambition has no borders. Capital shouldn't either.
