A little about me

I work in nightlife and have over 8 years of experience in architecture and urban planning. I am seeking opportunities to research nightlife and nighttime policy in London. Most recently, I completed a thesis at the University of Waterloo in Canada, examining Toronto’s nocturnal landscape. Through interviews with DJs, hosts and guests of the DIY electronic music scene, I explored the relationship between agency and safety in nightlife. “After Hours” initiates discussions on urban nightlife experiences to inform future practitioners about enhancing safety, identity, and inclusivity in nocturnal spaces.

With the Puddle Collective, we are exploring some of the ideas revealed in my research and producing day-time electronic music events in East London promoting emerging queer, non-binary and femme-identifying artists.
