The microscopy facility at the Institute for Molecular Bioscience at the University of Queensland supports over 180 researchers from 27 research groups investigating such areas as childhood and developmental diseases, host-pathogen interactions, and mechanobiology. With five point-scanning confocal microscopes, three deconvolution microscopes, a spinning disk confocal, and several wide field and stereo microscopes, along with image analysis workstations and three knowledgeable microscopists we offer a world-class facility to our scientists. On this channel we hope to provide tutorials and suggestions in how to best acquire, process, and analyse images from the facility's microscopes.
