RIAS Berlin Kommission | 1,060 followers on LinkedIn. Pursuant to the Agreement of May 19, 1992 between the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Government of the United States of America, The RIAS Berlin Commission promotes German-American understanding in the field of broadcasting and conducts annual exchange programs for broadcast professionals between our two countries. Exchange participants meet with representatives of government, media and industry and in the US are assigned to a broadcast station for a week. More than 1,700 German and U.S. journalists have taken part in RIAS Berlin Commission fellowship exchange programs since the program's inception.
