What is Rotary International?

Rotary Internationalisa global network of 1.4 million members, known as Rotarians, who are dedicated to humanitarian service and promoting goodwill and peace around the world. It is a non-political and non-religious organization with over 46,000 clubs globally. Rotary's areas of focus include disease prevention, water and sanitation, peace, education, maternal and child health, economic development, and environmental protection.

Rotaract is a service club for young adults, sponsored by Rotary International.

Location: Rove Downtown Hotel, Dubai Day: Every Wednesday Time: 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM Guests are welcome to attend before joining as members.

How do I become a member?

To become a member, you will need to: 1. Attend at least 60% of club meetings and service events 2. Complete the Rotaract Academy 3. Pay the Annual Membership Fee A Board Member will guide you throughout the process.

The Rotaract Club of Dubai founded in 2008, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Dubai.

Yes, absolutely. We are a multicultural club with members from across the world.

What is the age range for members?

Rotaract membership is open to anyone aged 18 and above. There is no upper age limit. Members may continue their Rotaract journey for as long as they are active and contributing to the club.

We are under the: Association of Rotary Clubs UAE Licensed under Community Development Authority (CDA) – License No. 86 This association unites Rotary, Rotaract, and Interact clubs in UAE under one shared vision, aligned with Rotary International.

What are your major or signature events?

Our legacy community service initiatives include: End The Litter Trail (ETLT), founded in 2022 and now recognized as one of the UAE’s largest multi-location environmental clean-up campaigns, as well as our annual participation at the Al Noor Fun Fair supporting children of determination, and our Iftar Distribution Projects across Dubai, through which we also contributed to achieving a Guinness World Record. We also work closely with key community partners including the Al Marmoom Initiative (environmental and sustainability programs), Stray Dogs Centre UAQ (animal welfare and rescue support), Al Noor Training Centre (support for people of determination), and National Charity School (youth education and community empowerment).
