My husband has ADHD and is also the one solely responsible for feeding me because I can barely cook scrambled eggs. Summer-Themed Coloring Pages

I created these cards that focus on encouraging messages for anyone who's dealing with trauma. I think we all need a little cheerleading when we're feeling down or struggling. These cards come in multiple versions. There are three designs, my usual colorful one, a softer watercolor design, and black and white for easy printing (or so that you can color in yourself!) I also included two kinds of wording. Affirmation "I" Statements: I am brave enough to keep moving forward. Message "You" Statements: You are brave enough to keep moving forward. Choose the wording that resonates most with you! These are meant to be printed (cardstock would be best) and then cut out! (There are faint gray dotted lines to guide your scissors) There are also two label pages. You can print them out on sticky paper or regular paper. Then, use tape to put them on the container where you keep the cards. Each version comes with two label pages, featuring a total of 6 labels, and six card pages, with six cards on each page (for a total of 30 affirmations!). *Printing these at home may result in duller colors than you see on your screen. If this is the case, you can have them printed professionally like at Staples, FedEx, and Office Depot for a closer color match. Affirmations for Trauma Recovery

One thing I've noticed when it comes to financial articles/workbooks/resources - is that they always assume the reader is middle-class and that there's some hidden resource you have in your life that you can just save, invest, or side-hustle your way into stability. I get that it's hard to create financial tools for people who are struggling because there are SO many reasons why they might be struggling. My workbook doesn't have any magic, eye-opening, solutions, or financial advice. What it does focus on is where/how/when you're beating yourself up about finances and explore feelings of shame/guilt/anxiety around money and finances. I think that's something that is always overlooked but so needed. My childhood created financial anxiety so severe that it caused executive dysfunction. At one point in my life, I was so anxious about paying bills that I was too anxious to make myself pay bills. It was a vicious cycle that I felt so alone in. I really wanted to create a resource that would help people understand their struggles. Financial Self-Care has five different parts. 💗 Financial Self-Care Workbook: This workbook goes over how you feel about money and finances and why you feel that way. It explores how your childhood shaped your feelings about money and where stress and anxiety come from. It also has lots of self-care tips based on if you're a spender, (anxious) saver, or avoider! 💗 Financial Self-Care Planner: This includes a ton of budgeting and savings worksheets. There are pages to track debt, bills, subscriptions, and memberships. 💗 Jan-Dec Monthly Review: This has two pages for each month - one to fill out at the start of the month and one to fill out at the end of it. It also has a helpful monthly checklist! 💗 Affirmations: A book of 48 affirmations to help you cultivate compassion for yourself when it comes to money. 💗 Journaling: These journaling prompts will help you uncover what financial security looks like for you, what mistakes you've made that you could learn from, and the healthy (and unhealthy) ways you deal with financial stress. Altogether it's over 80 pages! Each one also comes with a black-and-white version for easy and cost-effective printing. With all of my products, not only can you download them and print them out, but you can also fill them in straight from your computer or phone because they are digital fill-in enabled with ADOBE READER. With your phone/tablet, apps like XoDo or GoodNotes allow you to "write" inside the PDF. You can carry it around with you whenever you need it! Self-Talk & Your Inner Voice

I've written about self-forgiveness a lot. It's been an essential part of my journey toward loving myself. When I was in my early 20s, I was spiraling out of control. I was verbally abusive and manipulative to the people around me. I didn't know how to communicate or process my feelings in a healthy way and I was angry and self-destructive all of the time. Once I started working on my mental health, I was able to realize the full extent of my actions, and that how I reacted was not healthy or normal. I apologized in every way that I knew how but self-forgiveness took a lot longer. When we are stuck in those cycles of self-blame and self-hatred we’re not allowing ourselves to heal what was wrong in the first place. You might never make that mistake again and you might have learned from it, but there’s often an underlying issue. Clinging to that narrative that you are just a crappy person stops the ability to heal. When you think of yourself that way you’re telling yourself that there is no hope for you and there is no point in changing. And the cycle repeats. Maybe not in the same way, but that self-hatred will cope seeping into your life somehow. Forgiving yourself is not just for you. It's for the people who love you too, because self-destruction never just affects only you. I came up with seven steps that I think are essential toward reaching self-forgiveness. It starts with acknowledging the pain you're holding onto and ends with the daily choice to practice forgiveness and self-love.
