Food was delicious, but our waiter was rude for no reason. My husband ordered a pitcher of sangria and the waiter made a face, and rudely said: is that all? My husband replied we would like to start with that, then order food. Very strange, even at the end when asking us to include service he was not friendly. I saw other waiters being very friendly with the customers though. Overall the atmosphere was lacking, just a projected image of flamenco dancers on the stone wall.
This was the best dining experience I've had in Panama. The food was not just amazing but it came very fast and incredibly fresh. The taste and flavors were everything we were hoping for, a true taste of Panama. Juan was absolutely great, very polite (as were all the staff) and gave us great service. The live music and dancer were the cherry on top of an amazing experience. Ps. The Sangria was huge, strong and delicious!
We had a great experience at La Tasca La Candelaria in El Casco Antiguo. From the moment we sat down, the service really stood out. Our server Jesir (hope I got the name right) did an excellent job â attentive, friendly, and perfectly on time with both drinks and food. We ordered three different dishes, and all of them were excellent. The flavors were spot on and honestly tasted very similar to what youâd find in Spain, which is always a great sign for a Spanish restaurant. Overall, great food, great service, and a solid place to visit if youâre in Casco Antiguo and want good Spanish cuisine with people who actually care about the experience. Weâll definitely be back.
