As summer camp season approaches, the Buffalo Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) is offering a tuition-free Youth Development & Childcare Support Training Program to help prepare individuals for entry-level youth roles.  

Participants will gain key skills in working with children and be ready for summer positions. Eligibility includes income qualification, fewer than 33 college credits, and New York State residency. Join the Erie County Department of Health, Catholic Charities WIC, and United Way of Buffalo & Erie County’s Starting Line Healthy Births Coalition for an important panel discussion on updates to New York Labor Law (Section 206-c), which strengthens employees’ rights to express milk in the workplace. 

Hear from expert panelists and learn how your organization can support lactation-friendly workplaces and even earn the “Breastfeeding, Chestfeeding and Lactation Friendly Worksite” designation.
