In normal Day’s Like This fashion, Mad’ouk journey’s through a selection of hand-picked gems to bring you an energetic show.

His guest Jives Talk are no strangers to the scene: The London-based due have developed their own unique identity through style, outlandish press shots, and of course their taste in music.

Since forming, the two best friends have gone on to play an impressive number of the UK’s best parties and festivals, as well as hosting their own ‘Jive Talk & Friends’ stage takeovers at the much-loved Noisily and Gottwood Festivals.

Over the last 3 years, they’ve released on ‘Gottwax’, ‘Tropical Disco Records’, ‘Semi Delicious’ and ‘Midnight People’.

Day Like This Show w/ Jive Talk - 06-Apr-21

Been super excited to drop this one!   From this Friday I’ll be starting a new journey with the @voices_radio gang. 

  I’ve been wanting to settling into a morning show for awhile now but unfortunately haven’t had the time to really put my all into it. Well, from Friday it all begins!   I have some wicked ideas and concept for where I wanna take this monthly series and pumped you’re going to be joining me for the ride!   

Make sure your alarms are set from 9am - 11am, this will be the perfect way to sip your morning coffee and kick start the weekend!

Days Like This Show w/ Caspa Mono - 22/04/22

As it is ‘Mental Health Awareness’ Month, I have something really special planned for my next ‘Days Like This Show’ on @voices_radio.

Over the last month I have been trying to figure out ways in which I, as a ‘radio host’, can provide a more positive interaction with the listener. With this in mind I reached out to a close friend, @marchrussell who has recently qualified as Breathwork facilitator!

On the show March will be opening with a 20 minute Breathwork session where he will use conscious breathing techniques and tools to guide listeners into altered states of consciousness; inducing states of calm, balance and energy. We spend a great deal of time & attention to what we eat & what we drink but pay very little attention to the air we breathe. We breathe on average 20,00 breaths per day and yet 90% of us breathe incorrectly. We therefore can’t underestimate the power of repatterning our breath and its ability to restore our health, hack into our nervous system, boost our immune system and bring our physiology back to a state of balance.

Not only will March be conducting a Breathwork session, he will also be delving into his own personal journey with the practice, followed by a Q&A to give you an opportunity to get any questions answered! 
We will be finishing the show off by playing tune for tune, dropping tunes that evoke emotions whilst we think about how our environments effect our musical experiences.

So whether you practice Breathwork regularly, are a complete novice or just want to listen to some lovely tunes, I highly encourage you all to get involved!

Its going to be a special one so make sure to not miss it!
