Therefore, on Day 28, INIT will calculate the position as 7.26 ETH.

The 3x boost represents the highest starting weighted boost rate exclusively for loyal users who stick around with INIT on Blast before July 8, 8AM UTC.

Therefore, Depositors who deposit before July 8, 8AM UTC, will keep the 3x base boost which will put them in the most advantageous position.

For Depositors who open their positions after 8 July, 8AM UTC, they will receive a 2x weighted boost, which will be used as a base to calculate the 10% boost every 14 days.

The ‘Orbit Farming Hook’ allows $ETH and $USDB lenders to create Hook positions by borrowing an in-kind asset on Orbit Protocol and lending it on INIT, users can maximize their Blast rewards and get INIT points as well as the deposit APY on INIT.

Rewards in Phase 2

There are 3 main DeFi activities to earn points and rewards on INIT in Phase 2: Liquidity Hook. Engage in all to maximize your points:

1. Deposit ETH and/or USDB

• INIT Points: Earn 1 INIT point for every $100 value deposited per 24 hours.
• Blast Gold with Extra Boost: Depositors will get a 1.6x weight boost when opening a position in Phase 2. This boost will increase by 10% every 7 days. Refer to the full Blast boost calculation details here.

80% of Blast Gold received from the Blast team will be distributed to Depositors on INIT, shared by TVL. The longer you hold your position, the higher boost you’ll get.

• Blast Points: Blast points allocated to Depositors will be determined by both the amount deposited and the pool’s utilization rate. The calculation for Blast Points follows this formula:

Blast Points = (Deposited— Borrowed) / (Total Deposited— Total Borrowed) percent * Total INIT Blast Points

• Deposited: The total amount deposited by user.
• Borrowed: The total amount user borrowed from the pool.
• Total Deposited: The overall sum of deposits in the pool.
• Total Borrowed: The overall sum borrowed from the pool.
• Total INIT Blast Points: The total Blast Points available on INIT.

2. Borrow ETH and/or USDB

• INIT Points: Earn 5 INIT points for every $100 value borrowed per 24 hours.
• Blast Gold: 20% of Blast Gold received from the Blast team will be distributed to Borrowers on INIT, shared by TVL.
• Blast Points: Simply hold assets on the Blast network to get Blast points.

3. Utilize Hook

Example Rewards Calculation for Orbit Farming Hook

User A opens an Orbit Farming Hook position by:

• Borrowing 1 ETH (assuming 1 ETH = $3,000) as collateral from Orbit through INIT.
• Depositing the borrowed 1 ETH onto INIT.

In return, User A will be eligible for the following rewards from INIT, alongside the $ORBIT and Blast rewards from the Orbit Protocol:

1. INIT Points: 1 point for every $100 value deposited per 24 hours

Deposit 1 ETH ($3,000) = 300 points per 24 hours

2. Blast Gold with Extra Boost: 1.6x weight boost

INIT will see the position as 1.6 ETH to calculate the Blast Gold.

7 days later, User A will receive a 1.76x weight boost (a 10% increase from the initial 1.6x weight boost), and this boost will continue to increase every 7 days. Therefore, on Day 8 (1+7), INIT will calculate the position as 1.76 ETH.

3. Blast Points: Calculated based on the pool’s utilization rate.

**Note that users won’t receive rewards for the borrowed tokens since the token was borrowed from Orbit Protocol and not from INIT’s lending pool. See the calculations at the end of the blog.

In summary, User A will receive:

• $ORBIT rewards, Blast Points, and Blast Gold from Orbit Protocol for participating in lending activities on the Orbit platform.
• INIT points, Blast points, and Blast Gold with 1.6x boost from INIT Capital for depositing assets onto INIT.

Guide to Opening Orbit Farming Hook Position

• Go to the ‘Hook’ tab to select the asset you wish to utilize Hook with (currently only ETH and USDB are available), and choose the ‘Orbit Farming Hook’ option.

• Choose the amount to borrow from the Orbit Protocol to be used as collateral.
• Approve the token to deposit on INIT to open a position.
