In many companies, values end up as slogans on posters — nice to look at, but detached from reality. GR8 Tech chose a different path: treating values as a strategic compass, not decoration. In the technology industry, where the pace of change is dizzying, values help teams make quick, consistent decisions. They’re not slogans — they’re tools for action.

At GR8 Tech, values serve as a filter for all key decisions — from recruitment and product development to client relationships. Instead of asking, “Is it profitable?”, the team asks, “Is it true to who we are?”. That consistency builds trust — inside the organization and beyond. In a world where technology can do anything, values define what’s truly worth doing.

What IT Professionals Value in 2025

In the tech industry, values increasingly serve as a strategic compass. According to the EY 2024 report, 84% of companies use them as tools for managing change. In the era of AI and global expansion, ethics, transparency, and inclusivity are becoming prerequisites for trust. GR8 Tech aligns with this trend, building a decision-making culture rooted in values.

Today, IT professionals expect more than just benefits — they look for alignment between a company’s values and their own. Flexibility, a sense of ownership, and clear communication of organizational culture are key. People want to have an impact, grow, and work in environments that not only talk about values but live them. It’s the new norm, not the exception.

Values in the tech world are no longer declarations — they’re real tools for action. GR8 Tech demonstrates how to translate them into everyday decisions and workplace culture. Here’s how the company defines its core values — and what they mean in practice.

Acceler8 — Move Fast with Purpose

Acceler8 drives the pace of action at GR8 Tech. The focus is on fast testing, measuring results, and simplifying processes. Instead of chasing perfection, the team prioritizes effectiveness — better done well than perfectly. Decisions are made quickly but consciously, with real impact in mind. Ideas only matter if they lead to concrete results.

Speed is a competitive edge in tech — McKinsey (2024) reports that shortening decision cycles by 20% can increase team efficiency by up to 30%. Acceler8 fuels a culture of experimentation, simplification, and purposeful action, allowing the company to keep up with the market without sacrificing quality.

“ACCELER8 embodies innovation and the drive to move things forward — fast, but with intention. In product management, this mindset is crucial: it helps us test, iterate, and deliver without getting stuck in perfectionism. Speed paired with smart planning is what drives real business growth. It’s a value I rely on every day.” — Seckin Poyraz, Middle Product Manager

Challenge Accepted — Courage and Growth

At GR8 Tech, Challenge Accepted means being ready to act despite uncertainty. Challenges aren’t obstacles — they’re opportunities for learning and innovation. The team embraces ambitious goals and situations without clear answers. What matters is the “we’ve got this” attitude and the willingness to learn by doing.

Technology evolves through experimentation — and that requires courage and openness to failure. Challenge Accepted promotes a “learn by trying” mindset that’s essential in fast-changing environments. At GR8 Tech, challenges are treated as opportunities for growth, not threats.

“Challenge Accepted reflects exactly what I appreciate about GR8 Tech. Every project, every change is a new challenge, and that’s what keeps me growing. I feel empowered to step outside my comfort zone and influence real outcomes. It’s a mindset that turns everyday work into continuous development.” — Inna Osinna, QA Team Lead

Own Your Game — Responsibility and Ownership

Own Your Game stands for proactive engagement and full accountability. At GR8 Tech, people don’t wait for instructions — they act where they can make a difference. Employees take ownership of their decisions, even beyond formal responsibilities. Mistakes are treated as lessons, and initiative and courage are part of everyday work, not exceptions.

In a fast-paced, remote-first tech world, independence is key. Own Your Game builds trust and speeds up decision-making — no one needs permission to make things better.

“Own Your Game gives me the freedom to approach tasks in a way that fits both the goal and my strengths. There’s real trust here — I can align with my manager, but I’m empowered to make decisions independently. That autonomy drives me to take full ownership and deliver my best.” — Beata, Middle Application Security Engineer

Bulletproof — Resilience and Adaptability

Bulletproof at GR8 Tech means staying effective under pressure and ready for change. The team doesn’t panic in uncertainty — it adapts, collaborates, and finds solutions. Having a plan B, assessing risks, and staying composed under pressure are key. It’s a culture where strength comes from teamwork and the ability to bounce back from challenges.

In tech, resilience and flexibility are just as important as technical expertise. Bulletproof helps teams not only survive tough moments but emerge stronger from them.

“Bulletproof is a value I see in action every day at GR8 Tech. Working in tech means constant change, pressure, and unexpected turns — but here, we don’t panic. We adapt, support each other, and always have a plan B. That mindset doesn’t just help us survive challenges — it helps us grow stronger through them.” — Nadiia Lugovska Da Silva, Graphic Designer

Fueled by Trust — The Power of Transparency

Fueled by Trust is the value that binds the GR8 Tech team together through honesty, accountability, and mutual respect. Trust here isn’t a declaration — it’s a daily practice: keeping commitments, communicating openly, and being ready to listen. Thanks to that, even difficult decisions are made collectively, and strong relationships drive better results.

According to Google’s Project Aristotle, trust is the single most important factor in effective teamwork. At GR8 Tech, it’s the foundation of collaboration — it unites people and enhances performance. Without trust, there’s no team, only a group of individuals.

“Trust is what truly sets GR8 Tech apart. It’s not just a value we mention — it’s something we live every day, in how we communicate, collaborate, and deliver. You can feel it across teams, even when working remotely. It’s a game changer in this industry, and I’m proud to help build it further.” — Oleksandra Borysenko, Head of Talent Acquisition

Values That Work — Everyday Practice, Not Declarations

At GR8 Tech, values aren’t an addition to the strategy — they’re its core. They shape everyday decisions, strengthen the team, and give meaning to action. It’s an approach that combines the speed of technology with human responsibility. Thanks to that, the company not only grows but does so in a consistent and conscious way.

The GR8 Tech model shows that values can be more than declarations — they can be tools for management and a source of competitive advantage. In a world full of change, they provide direction, stability, and purpose. And for employees, they bring a sense of meaning, influence, and belonging — the foundation on which every strong company is built.

A Value-Driven Strategy: The GR8 Tech Model in Business Practice was originally published in GR8 Tech on Medium, where people are continuing the conversation by highlighting and responding to this story.

The return-to-office (RTO) debate is lighting up the tech world. For some leaders, bringing people back to the office feels like the only way to nurture creativity, culture, and collaboration. For many employees mandatory attendance looks like a step backwards — and, in many cases, a dealbreaker when choosing an employer.

Behind the headlines, the truth is less about desks and more about strategic design. The real challenge isn’t where people work, but how companies create conditions for them to perform at their best.

And while many businesses are still wrestling with hybrid rules and attendance trackers, GR8 Tech has doubled down on a different answer: remote-first by default, with offices that act as cultural anchors, not obligations.

Industry in transition

Recent studies show the pressure:

In Poland, 40% of large and mid-sized companies now require office presence, up from 25% a year earlier (Grant Thornton, 2025).

Globally, 68% of employees worked mainly from the office in 2024, compared to 35% the year before (McKinsey).

Gartner and Deloitte experts note that while hybrid is becoming the “new normal,” models that lack clarity often frustrate both managers and staff.

At the same time, tech specialists are voting with their feet. According to Career.io, over 30% of remote job postings in spring 2025 came from tech companies — confirming that IT remains the leading sector embracing work-from-anywhere. The signal is clear: talent expects flexibility.

Why remote-first works

Remote-first models offer distinct advantages for both companies and employees:

Global reach: access to talent beyond geography.

Efficiency: fewer distractions, faster execution, and better focus for knowledge workers.

Resilience: ability to adapt quickly to market changes, regardless of physical restrictions.

Satisfaction: better work–life balance and stronger retention when employees have real autonomy.

Yet, as experts stress, remote-only setups often fail if companies don’t invest in belonging and structure. That’s where GR8 Tech has built a unique hybrid model.

GR8 Tech’s hybrid, remote-first model

“Many companies still struggle to make remote work effective or to capture its full business benefits. At GR8 Tech, our approach is different — our remote structure allows us to adapt quickly to change and consistently achieve ambitious goals. Employees value the freedom and time that remote work gives them. If they have the right tools and clear goals, they can work just as effectively — sometimes even more — than in an office.” — Tetiana Davydova, Chief Talent Officer at GR8 Tech

GR8 Tech is remote-first — with no obligation to attend the office. But unlike fully remote teams, the company also maintains hubs in Warsaw, Limassol, and Chișinău. These spaces are not mandatory, but they serve as cultural anchors: places to connect with teammates, share social interactions, and experience company life in person.

“Although GR8 Tech operates mostly remotely, it’s very important to us that people feel part of the team. Regardless of location, everyone can join our activities, because we want every colleague to feel seen and appreciated. This also applies to our time-off policies — empowering our team to align their time off with personal values and cultural preferences. All of this creates an environment where flexibility goes hand in hand with real support and a sense of belonging.”

How they make it work

Remote-first at GR8 Tech isn’t just a policy — it’s supported by systems:

Access & Flexibility: coworking budgets, home-office equipment in benefits cafeteria, and flexible public holidays.

Belonging: quarterly offline meetups, regular retreats, and integration events that create shared experiences.

Structure & Clarity: a Remote Work Guide and focus on performance that set clear expectations without micromanagement.

“To make it easier for everyone, we developed “Remote Guideline” with best practices and advice that benefit both employees and the business. We also place strong emphasis on performance, currently developing our performance tracking system to better support teams and monitor results.” — Tetiana Davydova

Looking ahead

The RTO debate often frames office vs. remote as a zero-sum game. At GR8 Tech, team believes the future belongs to companies that combine freedom with accountability and connection with autonomy.

Remote-first, with the option to connect in physical hubs, is not only how the company works today — it’s how to stay competitive in iGaming tomorrow.

“In a fast-changing industry, this balance is more than a perk. It’s our standard.
