Event Logistics
Q: What is the NAHS Gala?
A: The NAHS Annual Gala & Auction is our signature fundraising event-and more importantly, it's a celebration of our school community. Parents, teachers, administrators, and supporters gather for an evening of great food, drinks, and entertainment while bidding on fantastic auction items donated by local businesses and families. All proceeds go directly to funding priority initiatives. Whether you're a longtime supporter or new to NAHS, it's a fun way to connect with the community while making a real impact.
Q: What should I wear?
A: Party attire! Anything from jeans to tuxedos is welcome. Dress it up, keep it casual, add some glitter-whatever makes you feel festive and comfortable.
Q: Where should I park?
A: Summerour Studio offers valet parking for guest convenience, with limited self-parking also available. Guests are strongly encouraged to use rideshare services. The venue address is 409 Bishop St NW, Atlanta, GA 30318.
Auction & Tickets
Q: What if I donated $1,500 or more to the NAHS Annual Fund?
A: You'll receive an email with instructions to claim your two complimentary tickets. You must still register and complete the ticket purchase process using your the code provided in the email. New donors at $1500 or more will also receive complimentary tickets.
Q: Can my business sponsor the event?
A: Absolutely! You can become a sponsor on the Event Tickets & Sponsorship page. Email [email protected] for details on sponsorship levels.
Q: Can I sponsor a teacher's ticket?
A: Yes! The Foundation invites teachers to attend at no cost, but donations to offset the cost of their attendance are welcomed. You can purchase a ticket under "Sponsor a Teacher Ticket" on the ticket page.
Q: How do I bid in the silent auction?
A: All bidding takes place online through GiveSmart. You can bid from your phone, tablet, or in-person using QR codes on display cards.
Q: How will I receive my winnings or items?
A: Silent auction winners will be notified via text and can collect items at check-out. Larger items or experiences will be coordinated by an Auction Volunteer after the event.
Q: Do I need to purchase a ticket to participate in the auction if I can't attend the event?
A: Yes, you need to be registered - but your virtual ticket is free! You must check in to the auction to bid and purchase items.

Q: Are my donations tax-deductible?
A: Yes - all proceeds go directly to the North Atlanta Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Q: Can I donate even if I can't attend?
A: Absolutely! You can make a one-time or recurring donation directly on this GiveSmart page. Every contribution helps bridge public funding gaps and supports students and teachers.
