Geez, what a busy month! Here's some of the highlights...

EDIT

The miniseries rough cut is complete, and focus is on the theatrical cut, whose edit is down to 3 ½ hrs. This next month we get it down to 2!

While that's being taken care of, we've brought onboard an animation supervisor. @Kolumbo is someone whom I’ve known on the site for years, and is a fairly prolific collab organizer, organizing the multiple NGTV collabs. With his help, we're beginning search for animators, particularly once the theatrical rough cut is complete.

Also, been getting pickup interviews underway – making arrangements to conduct several remote interviews this month with overseas interviewees, and will be conducting some in person interviews in April!

REWARDS

All domestic packages for the posters, stickers, and magnets have been shipped out. This next month we’ll be getting the international packages out, along with the solely sticker and magnet orders, then ordering the infamous plushies from the manufacturers.

OTHER

Fundraising efforts have been going strong, though it's not something I'm at liberty to talk about much. Feeling very confident about the coming months.

Also, huge thanks to everyone for sharing the @Egoraptor clip! It’s been so cool to see turnout and love for a fairly significant NG animation. And huge thanks to Arin for being such a good sport about it. We’ve got some more clips from the shoot that we’ll be sharing over the coming months, so stay tuned!

It does feel a little sleazy trying to get people to donate for an extended cut of a YouTube video, but we’re an ongoing production, and you get quite a bit more for being in the Discord server. Even still, I think what we’ll do is continue to gatekeep extended cuts, but direct people to our website instead, where they can visit our Kickstarter, join our mailing list, or else just find out about the film.

Speaking of, did a couple of other cool things in the server this month, including a Q&A with Shawn Tanner, aka @Afro-Ninja, that’ll be going up on our YouTube and etc. this month, and doing a monthly check-in with the server peeps tomorrow to give a more in-depth update as to where we’re at.

It's also been a crazy month in general for Newgrounds-adjacent situations – Adobe falsely and semi-axed Animate, Mewgenics has been selling like hotcakes, and Zach and Michael have cancelled Smiling Friends. It's been surreal seeing all of this happen, and re-assures me that the time is right to make this film a reality.
