What are the rule categories?

The Password Game has four rule categories. Basic Rules (always active) include length, digits, uppercase, special characters, and a digit-sum challenge. Geography Rules (optional) test knowledge of countries, capitals, flags, currencies, continents, and borders using a database of 195 countries. Space Rules (optional) cover planets, temperatures, moons, and orbital data. Audio Rules (optional) challenge you with morse code, musical notes, rhythm patterns, and beep counting.

How does the digit sum rule (Rule 5) work?

Rule 5 requires all digits in your password to add up to exactly 25. For example, if your password contains "9", "7", and "9", the sum is 9 + 7 + 9 = 25, which satisfies the rule. Efficient combinations include 9+9+7, 8+8+9, or 7+9+9. Be careful when adding digits for other rules — every digit counts toward this total.

What is the pet system?

Pixel the Cat is a virtual pet that appears as the final rule. You must include fish emojis (🐟) in your password at a ratio of 1 fish per 20 characters. Pixel has a health system: health drops if you add 30+ characters without feeding, and reaches zero (death) if neglected too long. Keep Pixel fed by adding fish emojis as your password grows.

What are the visual challenges (CAPTCHA and Ishihara)?

Visual challenges include a CAPTCHA puzzle (solve distorted 5-character text) and Ishihara color tests (find hidden numbers in colored dot patterns). CAPTCHAs are case-insensitive and never use ambiguous characters like I/O or 0/1. Ishihara tests come in three difficulties: Easy (50%), Medium (35%), and Hard (15%).
