Drones-Of AU Microscopii b is a space drone synth with different and very rich granular effects. Support MIDI keyboard keys, with double pitch option and mod wheel, also knobs and faders. Pitch wheel and mod wheel will add specific sound if is full down or full up also mod wheel will modulate the granular effect/s.
ABOUT: the synth is monophonic because is patch up for drone and space effects.
MIDI keyboard keys setup you drone sound note. For drone use MIDI keyboard keys E2, D2 or F2. Drone music is based on low and middle frequencies. Feline module is a global synth filter. Four wave shapers will add some very specific sound changes. You can record the sound directly inside in the patch. The synth have octave changer from -4 to 0 and from 0 to +4, the synth have synth throttle which is give very smooth changes on synth octaves. dSpec OSC will give you very rich granular effect. S&H noise VCO will give you awesome granular effect. MCM Treasure VCO 3 mods knobs will change the sound depending on their position. Stargazer VCO will give you very dark and cold sound. Noise generator will add static noise to give full reality on this space drone synth. Simone LFO alpha and beta knobs will add some cold sound by turn left or right also FM knob. Also the synth have six FX knobs every FX effect have label.
You have two triggers (buttons (ON – OFF):
trigger 1 – will change the sound when is off the sound will return to default – Simone VCO 2.
trigger 2 – when is on is activated is give very cold and scary effect, when is off is run by default – MSM Treasure VCO
INFO: on some modules and knobs have glued notes get more familiar with synth controls.
Double pitch modulation:
1 – OCT module from -4 to 0 and from 0 to +4
2 – MIDI pitch wheel
NOTE: if you want to separate both pitch control disconnect Shift Octave CV input located on OCT module (VCV).
Play with synth throttle, Rogue OSC/LFO Coarse knob, MIDI keyboard pitch and mod wheel, granular VCO, and six FX effects and four wave shapers you will modulate a sound out of this world.
The big red button is to turn ON/OFF the synth, you have 8 main filters which 2 filters are for granular effects and 1 filter for LFO. The synth sound is cold and dark with very rich granular effects, a synth gem every producer must have.
