This sound piece weaves together field recordings and archival fragments into a live, short-range radio transmission. Broadcast in real time through a localized FM signal, the work activates an intimate sonic sphere that unfolds as a sound composition drifting between memory, place, and the present moment.

The work functions as a durational activation, subtly altering the sonic environment and inviting listeners to tune into a micro-scale soundscape by accessing the piece through the air itself, tuning into a shifting acoustic landscape, that is assembled, rearranged, and dispersed - reimagining how past and present intersect in the act of listening.

This work was created and presented as part of Accabonac Echoes, an installation of sound art and sonic experiences took place at the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center in East Hampton, NY, November 15, 2025.
Hydro Commons
2025, Field Recordings, sound, video, live performance. 20 mins.

Hydro Commons is a site-responsive audiovisual performance situated along the banks of Newtown Creek. Blending field recordings, spoken word, ambient sound, and live generative visuals, the work unfolds as a durational experience - part transmission, part meditation. Through this performance, we listen with the site rather than to it, as bodies, environments, and technologies interlace through flows of sound, signal, and residue. Glitch, distortion, and repetition become aesthetic strategies to reveal perception as a porous act, dissolving the boundaries between human and nonhuman, organic and synthetic, memory and perception. Rooted in an ongoing inquiry into embodiment and environment, Hydrocommons imagines a shared ecology of attention grounded in intimacy & presence. The performance acts as a transmission between bodies, human and more-than-human, invoking connection, contamination, and transformation.

"How can nature inspire new modes of resistance through rising tides of hypercapitalism?"

"Something Fierce" was a festival on queer ecology, expressed through performance, interactive, and interdisciplinary artwork. The work engages with biodiversity, speculative ecology, psychogeography, and climate change, through the lens of queer desire, community, and persistence. The event took place at Flux IV in Hunter's Point, Queens, at the mouth of Newtown Creek- one of the most polluted waterways in the United States- on November 22 and 23rd, 2025. The festival was also part of Fall of Freedom, a nationwide wave of creative resistance.

Finding the Center: Through Site-responsive Interventions, Embodied Action and the Trace

This body of work explores the intersections of embodiment, diasporic subjectivity, traces, and digital aesthetics within contemporary feminist media art. Comprising three interrelated pieces, the project examines how lived experience, memory, and digital mediation shape identity and representation. Each work employs a distinct formal strategy - layered video collage collapsing multiple instances of time, moving image & sculpture, and repetition and variation through printmaking ; while collectively investigating how feminist methodologies can unsettle fixed notions of the body, belonging, and technological mediation.
This work was shown as part of the MFA Thesis exhibition - Traces at Zuccaire Gallery, Stony Brook NY, March 2025
Body, Body, Body is an immersive audiovisual installation dealing with the notion of time, the overlaps of perception, media bubbles, signals and noise. It is a meditation on the process of becoming, states of in-betweenness and the blurry lines between the multiple versions of self that exist simultaneously.

A multichannel piece featuring abstract video, ambient sound and spoken word, working together to activate the gallery. The sound and visuals combined serve as an invitation to the audience to explore the space, at their own pace, echoing the movement on the walls while casting their shadows superimposed onto the projected artwork, adding their bodies to the piece.
Island Light is a series of polaroid emulsion lifts made of light recordings both as reflections and lumia. These are all original field recordings, manipulated by hand, of instances of the seasonal occurrence of golden light, over Fall, Winter and Spring, out on Long Island, NY. These observations, akin to meditations, also serve as an invitation to lean in and look closer.

This work is an extension of an ongoing inquiry into light as a material, placemaking and visual ephemera created through lens based media and interventions.
New environments shape new experiences.

The Site is a single edition artist book featuring a collection of visual ephemera born out of spatial explorations concerned with notions of time, location and space.

This body of work is a further investigation into how we interface with phenomena with a focus on light and movement. It began in the Fall of 2022 and continued till Spring 2023. Stretched over three seasons, it served as an observation of a specific site, within the Ashley Schliff Reserve, inside the Stony Brook University campus, in Long Island, NY.

Printed in October 2023.

The Eye of Providence is a 12ft tall outdoor sculpture that was concieved as part of Figment NY's Summer Long Sculpture Program out on Governor's Island, New York.

Within the Eye ofProvidence is a camera obscura; the lenses were salvaged from former surveillance planes that once parked on Governors Island during its military history (circa 1970). Viewers may turn the eye toward Wall Street, The Treehouse, The Bell, or The Barracks, both as symbolic and poetic gesture.

The painted eye design is derived from the Native American Eye of The Medicine Man, the Siberian Shaman, New Guinean Genealogical Symbols, and other genealogical symbols from around the world representing wisdom and future sight. The outer lines of the symbol stand for the four corners of the Universe - North, South, East and West of the physical world. The inner lines represent the Spirit world – the center circle for the eye of the Medicine Man and his spiritual vision.

Visitors were invited to explore the touristic, surveillance, and spiritual aspects of the eye. Alternatively one could turn the eye onto the island, pose in front and interact with it!

This project was done in collaboration with dear friend and fellow artist Sofy Yuditskaya.
No conversation about light is complete without talking about the sun.
And no conversation about time is complete without talking about the moon.

The SunMoonSunMoonSunMoon diptych is a collaborative audiovisual piece that continuously loops through the link between light, space and time. The audio is a composition that includes a sonification of the sun’s electromagnetic waves as well as direct recordings of the sounds it emits.

The Moon print is a cyanotype that was created using found objects and exposed using the sun.
It highlights the shadow and light play occurring naturally throughout the day. While the Sun is a sculptural piece with digital projections focusing on human made light and form.

Made in collaboration with Sofy Yuditskaya during a month long residency at Walkin Studio.
