A Student Governor, along with other members of the SAMRU Student Governing Board (SGB), helps oversee the strategic direction of SAMRU and governs the organization on behalf of members (MRU credit students). The SGB is the highest decision-making body of the organization.

The SGB meets monthly during the fall and winter semesters and every other month during the spring and summer semesters. Being a member of the board is an important responsibility; successful candidates will be provided with all the training needed to succeed. You'll also receive tuition and fees paid for one course per semester!
