retsecroW(s) ret-see-crows Kidderminster Retsecrow(s) – pronounced ret-see-crows. It’s Worcester spelt backwards and because there are four of them, it had to be plural. The name isn’t the only distinctive thing about these kids from the Midlands. With a mix of dirty metal and guitar-driven rock covers these kids are happiest playing in front of a live audience; there’s a good chance they’ll drop some originals into their set too. The band features the remarkable talents of Luca on vocals and guitar, defying his age at just 14 years old. Joining him are Lily, a bass prodigy at 16; Ollie, 17, wields the lead guitar, while George, also 16, keeps the thunderous rhythm alive. They formed in July 2022 and played their first gig at a festival in Bewdley, Worcestershire in September 2022. More gigs and a radio appearance followed through 2023 and they continued to write original songs together and develop their sound. The band started 2024 in the recording studio and released their first single Grief Of Me on all major music streaming platforms in March. The single has just achieved over 8,000 streams on Spotify alone. Their latest single Blood Sea came out in late 2024, it quickly passed 5,000 streams and earned repeated airplay on rock and metal radio shows across the UK.
