Across client, edge, network, and cloud, this is The International Future Computing Association. Meetings, events, future computing, frameworks, and standards.

ORGANIZATIONS WE SUPPORT

TIFCA is developing frameworks that utilize untapped computing resources to grow vendor ROI and deliver more capabilities to the users that need them.  Our ecosystem includes supportive technologies, frameworks, and standards that strive to enable these resource opportunities.

TIFCA also builds relationships with user groups to better understand their needs, to cross-educate with industry, and to co-develop initiatives and solutions as needed.

CURRENT INITIATIVES

The Fourparity Initiative

The Fourparity InitiativeComputing use case needs can outpace the available supply of resources like processing power, certain types of processing power, memory, storage, and electricity. These demands influence the client, edge, network, and cloud ecosystems. There are still untapped resources that could be growing ROI for vendors and delivering more capabilities to the users that need them.

The Fourparity Initiative is developing a series of frameworks and open standards to harness these resources.

The TIFCA Academic Leadership Council

The TIFCA Academic Leadership CouncilGraduates rely on employment for hands-on experience, and the future may have fewer entry level positions in computing and Applied Arts fields. Employers also face pressures to find skilled workers without as much need to educate them further when hired.

The TIFCA Academic Leadership Council (TALC) is a new forum of decision-making leaders in higher education that build solutions with industry to make graduates more workforce ready.
