Hers Multi-Cancer Test by Galleri®

Screen for over 50

cancer types in one test

Go deeper than what’s included in standard testing for women, all with a single blood draw added to your Labs plan.

Image

Not available in all 50 states. Eligibility and rx required. Test is not FDA approved. Use is recommended for adults with an elevated risk for cancer, such as those 50 and older. ... The test is a screening test that looks for a signal sometimes associated with cancer. It does not diagnose cancer. Diagnostic testing is needed to confirm cancer. The test does not detect a signal for all cancers and not all cancers can be detected in the blood. False positive and false negative results do occur. Test should be used in addition to healthcare provider recommended screening tests. We recommend talking to your healthcare provider to determine if additional testing is needed. Who is Labs recommended for?

Labs by Hers is a good fit for those looking for a holistic picture of their health that goes beyond a traditional doctor’s office—and that provides a clear path forward. You must be 18 or older to purchase a Labs plan, if eligible.

How does the lab testing process work?

After checking out with a lab testing plan through Hers, you’ll book your first blood draw appointment at a Quest Diagnostics location near you. Your first draw will test 75+ biomarkers. You’ll learn your current baseline and uncover which areas of your health need attention. You’ll get expert guidance in the Hers app about your results, where you can also take action with lifestyle guidance and personalized treatment plans, if eligible. You’ll continue to track your progress with twice-yearly panels; your 6-month follow-up will retest 55+ biomarkers.

Do I need to visit a lab in person?

You’ll book an in-person appointment to take your lab test at one of 2,000 Quest Diagnostics locations nationwide directly through the Hers app.

What do the plans test for?

Your lab panels are processed by Quest Diagnostics and include 130+ biomarker tests. They span 10 vital health areas, like heart health, hormone health, metabolism, inflammation, and stress.

Are video visits with a doctor required?

No, a video visit with a healthcare provider is not required for Labs.

Is insurance required?

Insurance isn’t required, so there are no complicated insurance questions or health insurance plan considerations.

Better health starts inside

1Biomarkers track core biological pathways and while not diagnostic on their own, testing can help inform a provider about the underlying physiologic shifts that are associated with a very wide range of conditions.

2Routine bloodwork may typically only include a complete blood count, a basic metabolic panel, a lipid panel, glycated hemoglobin, and thyroid-stimulating hormone.

3Costs can exceed $2,500 for direct-to-consumer tests that screen similar biomarkers.

Important Safety Information

The Galleri test is recommended for use in adults with an elevated risk for cancer, such as those age 50 or older. The test does not detect all cancers and should be used in addition to routine cancer screening tests recommended by a healthcare provider. The Galleri test is intended to detect cancer signals and predict where in the body the cancer signal is located. Use of the test is not recommended in individuals who are pregnant, 21 years old or younger, or undergoing active cancer treatment.

Results should be interpreted by a healthcare provider in the context of medical history, clinical signs, and symptoms. A test result of No Cancer Signal Detected does not rule out cancer. A test result of Cancer Signal Detected requires confirmatory diagnostic evaluation by medically established procedures (e.g., imaging) to confirm cancer.

If cancer is not confirmed with further testing, it could mean that cancer is not present or testing was insufficient to detect cancer, including due to the cancer being located in a different part of the body. False positive (a cancer signal detected when cancer is not present) and false negative (a cancer signal not detected when cancer is present) test results do occur. Rx only.
