Attackers are leveraging QR‑embedded email attachments, business‑themed lures, and phishing‑as‑a‑service (PhaaS) platforms such as FlowerStorm to automate victim targeting, harvest credentials, and bypass Multi Factor Authentication through adversary‑in‑the‑middle techniques. Moltbook, the world’s first AI‑agent social network, launched six weeks ago — a development CPX has been watching closely. Within just three weeks, the platform enrolled 2.8 million agents. To assess the risk landscape, our Threat Intelligence team deployed agents, studied behavioural archetypes, analysed dark‑web activity, and mapped global infrastructure exposure tied to the ecosystem. Our findings reveal a new class of threats where AI agents can influence, manipulate, and compromise other AI agents without any human in the loop. Key findings: · A misconfigured database exposed 1.5M API tokens only three days after launch. · Dark‑web actors already view Moltbook as an active exploitation surface. · For the first time at scale, prompt injection is spreading socially — from AI to AI.
